The Lubbock Book Festival is a multi-genre, multi-author literary event featuring various award-winning, best-selling, and fan-favorite authors. With indie and traditionally published authors alike, your next favorite read is just waiting to be found.

From Children's to Romance, and everything in between, we feature a wide range of authors in nearly every genre imaginable. Plus, our bookish vendors boast some of the most creative buys around.

Author signings are just the tip of the iceberg. We also host panel discussions, writing workshops, raffles, children's activities, and so much more — all centered around books.

A hub of contemporary style, the Overton mixes Texas tradition and modern flair, with a little Red Raider revelry always on tap. Guests enjoy award-winning cuisine at the Pecan Grill, a top-notch Fitness Center and, when business is on the agenda, the services and amenities of the finest conference center in Lubbock.

The Lubbock Book Festival is organized and executed by the staff and volunteers at Literacy Lubbock, an adult literacy nonprofit located smack dab in the Hub City itself. Our mission? To support and execute programs that enable people to become literate. Because we believe education and literacy can change lives!
