The Lubbock Book Festival began in 2017.  Since then, it's switched hands a couple of times, being handled by many capable organizations who each gave their personal flair to the event.  Now, it's landed at Literacy Lubbock.  After all, who better to put on a book festival than an non-profit passionate about literacy and education?  And Literacy Lubbock is dedicated to honoring those who've come before by ensuring the Lubbock Book Festival lives on as a place to promote reading, writing, and storytelling for those on the South Plains.
