A Novel Cause
The Lubbock Book Festival is a vibrant, annual event hosted by Literacy Lubbock to celebrate books, authors, and the power of storytelling—while raising awareness for literacy in our community.
As a nonprofit dedicated to improving adult reading, writing, and language skills, Literacy Lubbock created the festival not just as a gathering for book lovers, but as a mission-driven celebration that supports lifelong learning.
Each year, the festival brings together bestselling authors, local writers, bookish vendors, and readers of all ages for a weekend full of book signings, engaging panels, children’s activities, and more—all designed to spark a love of reading and support literacy efforts in West Texas.
When you attend the Lubbock Book Festival, you’re not just discovering your next favorite read—you’re helping change lives through literacy.
