The Lubbock Book Festival will be held at the Cotton Court Hotel in Downtown Lubbock, just off Avenue Q.  While our fair city has many hotels to offer, nothing quite beats staying on site!  Discount rooms are available while supplies last!

  • Are wagons and carts allowed?
    At this time, no. Given the space constraints, we ask that nothing with wheels be permitted, including strollers, wagons, and carts.
  • How can I contact the organizer with questions?

  • Are refunds available?
    No, ticket refunds are not available. You can, however, transfer your ticket to another person.
  • What COVID precautions are in place?
    Currently, no precautions are in place. Event organizers hold the right to implement precautions, as deemed necessary, at any time, to ensure the safety of all participating authors, attendees, volunteers, and staff.
  • Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
    There are none at this time. However, we do advise all parents and guardians that Saturday is open to all genres, including romance.
  • Do I need to print my ticket?
    Nope! You can print it, if you choose, but having it on your smartphone works just as well.
  • Should I bring my own books or do I have to purchase ones there to get them signed?
    You're definitely more than welcome to bring your own books! But if you can purchase a book from an author, they'll definitely be appreciative of it!
  • Will tickets be available at the door?
    If not all tickets have been sold via online, any remaining tickets will be available at the door.
  • Is my ticket transferrable?
    Yes, you may transfer your ticket. We do not require that the name shown matches the name of the attendee checking in.
  • Is parking available?
    Yes, the Cotton Court Hotel does offer free parking. In the event that their parking lot is full, street parking is available along Broadway.
